At Nambour Early Learning Centre we strive to ensure we offer children a high quality learning environment and developmental program. We aim to be a well respected and regarded service in the Early Education sector.
Educators
All Educator roles support the implementation of quality education and care ensuring that all children are inspired to investigate, create and explore their environment and participate in the educational program. All educators are viewed as a co-learner and collaborator with the child, who observes children carefully, listening to their cues, questions and supports decision making, whilst discovering what interests the child, then providing meaningful learning opportunities to explore these interests further. By building authentic and trusting relationships with children, educators play a vital role in each child’s learning journey from their first day at Nambour ELC.
All educators must hold:
- A Certificate III in Children’s Services (as a minimum)
- A current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- A valid working with children/vulnerable people check/blue card.
- Full Vaccination status for Covid-19
Early Childhood Teachers & Lead Educators
Leaders within Nambour ELC play a central role in the delivery of quality early childhood education and care whilst demonstrating and embedding the Nambour ELC vision, values and beliefs in everyday practice. As a leader within our service, you are given the freedom to guide your studio teaching team to deliver a high quality educational program, while reflecting on practice, ideas and pedagogical beliefs. Our leaders are passionate about building authentic relationships with children, respectful partnerships with families and a respectful, professional culture within the Nambour ELC team. Leaders at Nambour ELC are empowered to grow as an individual and guide others through delegation of tasks, being a Responsible Person in the absence of the Nominated Supervisor, being a part of decision making for the service.
Early Childhood Teachers must hold:
- A Bachelor Qualification listed on the list of approved early childhood teaching qualifications published by ACECQA in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations
- A current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- A valid working with children/vulnerable people check/blue card.
- Full Vaccination status for Covid-19
Lead Educators must hold:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and educators (or be studying towards as a minimum)
- A current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- A valid working with children/vulnerable people check/blue card.
- Full Vaccination status for Covid-19
Monday: 6.00am – 6.30pm
Tuesday: 6.00am – 6.30pm
Wednesday: 6.00am – 6.30pm
Thursday: 6.00am – 6.30pm
Friday: 6.00am – 6.30pm
